My First Sale of a Greeting Card on Etsy!

 Got my first sale on Etsy! Lady bought this card for her daughter's birthday so I made it extra special and put it in a nice box with tissue paper and her name on the top plus a few pretty embellishments. Just need some more sales now!

Funny Joke Cards for the Grandkids!

Not all my cards are for sale on Etsy, I do still make cards for family and friends. These cards were made for 3 of my grandchildren and I had enormous fun making them, and I know the kids were absolutely thrilled when they got them. Each card has a metallic card arched frame with an embossed background and then a hand cut image. I used a dinosaur for Reuben, an astronaut for Jonah and a unicorn for Emilia, each with a speech cloud and a joke question, which is answered on the inside when the card is opened.

New Cardmaking Venture

 I discovered the art of cardmaking in January 2021 when I purchased a second hand Sizzix Big Shot Plus on eBay. Ever since I have been making cards for family and friends. But now I've run out of personal recipients and needed an outlet for my creativity. The obvious thing to do was open an Etsy shop, especially as the site specialises in handmade items. My first card for the shop is this multi-layered card with a decoupaged panel of flowers and a large sentiment saying Warm Hugs for you. It has a bright blue glitter card background and matching blue gems in the flower centre. It's 6" x 6" in size and priced at £4.99 plus postage of £1.50 (Sadly I am only able to ship within the U.K. at the moment, although this may change in the future).
